I’m a facilitator of Google’s IAmRemarkable workshops (it should have a hashtag in front but I’m on an unfamiliar keyboard and unsure how to generate one!) all about self promotion. They have two slogans: it’s not bragging if it’s true, and achievements don’t speak for themselves. That second one made my head explode (in a good way) when I first heard it, and I’ve spent the years since unlearning the expectations of modesty I was brought up with. ‘Don’t keep yourself a secret’ is a fantastic addition to that!!
