That perspective shift of "get to do" vs. "have to do" found me a while back. It's a game-changer. And rereading it with your unique take reminded me how powerful a statement that is. "Get to" is infused with gratitude, hope, possibility, and agency. It shifts my internal ramblings to a positive forward focus.

Thank you for holding this up today. And now, I get to sip my morning coffee and prepare for an upcoming interview.

Thank you for your good wishes. I'm being interviewed this week. It's more of a conversation followed by a Q&A. Your morning post got me in a good headspace for today's prep. Grateful to you, Kara.
