The one thing I considered starting a few years ago? Writing a book. Still working on that. Starting a business. Did that. A career change. More like a meandering path but the writing thing, that’s definitely a new career. Learning the flute – aka remembering how to play the piano – did not hold my interest for long. The road to relearn all that seemed too long and I don’t want to waste time. Lately, though, I have a slight (very, very slight) interest in learning some Korean words. I’ve started a list on my phone. No one else knows about it. Not sure what I’ll do there, but it is fun to think about. Thanks, as always, Kara!

Starting a list is starting! I love to hear about those planted seeds. (Btw Duolingo has been helpful for me in learning Italian -- a two-minute lesson a day and I think, well, that was something!) Keep me posted.

Today IS perfect. I have been thinking about a woven wall hanging I want to make for at least a week or so and today might be the PERFECT day to unwrap the XL loom that has been sitting forlornly in the corner for at least a month. I don't know why I'm feeling anxious about it, I have the yarn, the design is in my head and I know I can do it. Okay then, shower, laundry, WEAVE. Thanks for the motivation Kara. xx

Did you start weaving?? I've felt exactly the same way before about other things I *want* to do. It sits there! And the longer it sits, the more anticipation builds, and the more I feel like I need to carve out a TON of time to "make it happen" and on and on. Small steps count -- unwrapping counts! Keep me posted...
