Oh, hi friends!
Are you waiting?
Waiting until…
the time is right
and the draft is clean.
Waiting until…
winter dissolves
and we have a consensus.
Waiting until…
every question is answered
and every fear is eased.
Waiting until…
you believe.
Waiting until…
you are ready.
Waiting until…
you are enough.
Waiting until…
waiting until…
waiting until…
you finally will.
Is there anything keeping you waiting? A person, a project, a belief, a system? I’d love to know…even articulating what I’m waiting on always helps me! Hope it might help you, too.
I needed this today! Thank you!
When you are recovering from any physical or mental injury, you judge every second of every day whether you feel better or not, your heart sinks if you feel worse and leaps when you feel better, and this self-monitoring, which comes with many perils of its own, happens every second so that you are truly living in the present moment or what feels like the present moment, which, as we know, does not really exist. The present moment is an illusion like the rest of life, but if we are getting better we don’t care about any of this. When we are not gettin better, we sink into morbid speculation which only makes matters worse.
