PUT IT ON A MUG!!!!
Having stared at on in my dresser for months, this year I read a 930 page historical fiction novel (The Eighth Life: For Brilka) because I committed to three pages a night (and of course, you get hooked in, you read more...). I will add that the writing on those 930 pages was SO SMALL that I had to wear special reading glasses each time. It was worth it — I got to learn a bunch of Soviet history that i've wanted to learn for years. And those big, multi-generational yarns are satisfying, once in a while (though content warning throughout because: Soviet history)
Three pages a night is utterly brilliant, and doable, and look at the commitment you made — and saw through! This makes me want to tackle all sorts of new things. Little bites!
Thanks for the suggestions and LOVE the photo, “saw” the angel in my mind. I managed to read and make a list of potential collaborators after my traumatic break with my composer after two years. Most appreciated.
Excited to hear what you think of Refuse To Be Done!
I love it so, so much.

Wait now I really do want this on a mug!

As a smart Kara once said (my phrase of the year that’s made a huge impact on me and many friends):
SOLID INCREMENTAL PROGRESS
Omg and because the acronym is “SIP”, that one also HAS to go on a mug! BRD merch — I am IN!!!!

A list is the perfect next step! So glad you were able to do that, Jennie. The right person is out there waiting to meet you.
