All of this makes me think of two words- process and progress. It's rare to 'get it' right the first time with anything. We delude ourselves by thinking it 'should' be that way. But life is a process of experimenting, tweaking, and finessing forward. Even when we've gotten to the point of mastery, there are still opportunities for improvement. I love that.
However, the trick is allowing something to be 'done' even when we know it could be better or different. We hit the 'done' button and let that thing be for a time. Then, we have a chance to morph it into its next iteration—the building blocks of life.
