I'm blown away by how you found and leaned into your groove last week. And how awesome that you permitted the focus of two- running and writing. When the focus narrows, it's much less stressful. Congratulations on the progress you made on your musical, your reduced screen time, and aligning your 'talk' with your 'walk.'

It was such a joy talking with you on your 'Do It Today' podcast about resetting for the new season. Thank you for inviting me. When I walked out of the front door this morning, the block was full of cars. At first I was surprised until I realized that today was the first day of school. We live right around the corner from the elementary school. I could feel the excitement and seasonal shift.

Here's to sharpening the pencils, filling up those blank notebooks, and finding your groove for this new season!

Thank you so much, Linda! You're so right about the narrow focus. I had my two main buckets, and it kept everything very streamlined and simplified.

And you just inspired me (yet again) to pull out a fresh blank notebook and lean into the back-to-school feeling even more deeply.

Awesome. I can see you leaning in. There is nothing quite like a blank page or notebook to inspire possibilities. I know that can scare people (a blank page,) but to me to it encourages a freedom to unfold. And until you begin, you never know exactly where the process will take you. Things bubble up. Love that!

This was very inspiring, thank you! I once saw Sean McCabe speak, and he said he and his team take every seventh week off, which I also LOVE the idea of...

Oooh I love that idea, too! Really smart to build it in regularly and in advance. Hmm. Gonna ponder this. We deserve weeks off like everybody else!

I quitted my job. Still two months left to fulfill the contract, but I just don't give a flying eff anymore. I'm working in web3 and it's all about hustle, hype and, well, bulsh*tting (most of the time). I'm a content creator, meaning: I'm responsible for everything text-wise. Also meaning: I'm a big part of aggressive hype and meaningless bullsh*tting, including ai propaganda. I'm also in introvert, who is just tired after 6 years in an industry that is so hostile to everything this introvert is. So I quitted. I want to learn the art of slow living. I want to re-learn how to pause and to notice things around me. So yeah, I guess it's also a brain reseting routine for me ))

What a major and exciting hardcore RESET!!! You sound incredibly sure and invigorated by your decision -- I'm so happy for you. And two months is a nice runway to fly down and explore what's next. Perfect season to do so. You got this!
