Thinking of resistance to change as not wanting to be wrong about what I’m doing now is 🤯 What a great way to open the door to reframing the opportunity for change ~ a beautiful way to refine and make something better!
It was so mind-opening (aka brain-exploding) for me, too! There's the temptation to want to make it right the first time around, but reframing changes and improvements as generosity, rather than criticism, is something I'll take with me...
Yep, 100% true! The hardest part for me is getting the thing done, though. I'm an editor through and through so revision is kind of the fun part for me!
I love this wisdom so much. Getting the paint on the a blank slate is the beginning. It's the sketch that has the possibility to grow, morph, and become something you anticipated or perhaps are surprised by. But it's in the noodling that it becomes. And it's in the process that you become.
She said it beautifully! Thanks for this.
I want to live inside her brain! So brilliant.

So beautifully put, Linda. THANK YOU.
Good morning! Thanks for sharing your nuggets of wisdom along with Toni Morrison’s interview.
Thank you so much for being here!
