Your newsletter is perfect for those who are trying to ACTUALLY transform their dreams into reality because every peace of advice you give fits us so well. Life is hard. Making dreams come true is soooo hard and is actually really nice and motivating to open my e-mails and read your KIND words. I really needed to read this today. On monday I start a new job after a year outside the job market and I'm scared because is a different position in a new contry with a new language (so many new stuff happening) and I'm trying to catch up with everything I don't know (Technical stuff). I just panicked and didn't sleep well for a week.
I read your e-mail and took a deep breath. "I am in control" is something I start to repeat to myself and it made me realize that overthink won't help me. I have time to learn.
Oh my goodness, Larissa, what a great and rich time for change and NEW THINGS for you! It's never totally easy, but that's often where we need to go in order to inhabit a new space. Congratulations on your new job -- I remember talking with a friend who started a job in a slightly different realm, and had a similar technical learning curve. Everything felt New New New and then suddenly...smooth. I admire your bravery in beginning. You ARE in control. And just imagine how much you get to learn! Wishing you all good things on your first week and beyond...let me know how it goes!
