I recently added an "Inversion" class (joined with a friend who lives across the country - so we can both learn headstands & eventually Handstands)! Did I "have" the time. Um, no? Did I just swap that day for a day I was using for a workout I'd become kinda bored with? Ubetcha! Great reinforcement & reminder Kara! Thanx for your awesomeness as usual.

Thank you Kara, this was a timely reminder in my current mindset to refocus on my "on-the-back-burner" project ... xxxx

I hope you turn the burner back on, Lou! My back-burner projects always tend to fall off the stove altogether. Give it some heat!

I kind of want to ask, how did you know I was considering, reconsidering, the Bookstagram page? And the adding/subtracting thing and finding myself always waiting, always being available. It’s hard to fit in more things I want to do for myself when I’m waiting to see if anyone wants to be around me. And it feels like I’m that girl at the dance – the wallflower. I wrote down these questions for myself for today: What if I wasn’t waiting around? What if I wasn’t available? What if I did it for me? I’ll think on that but I need to post to my Bookstagram because I started that for me and I’m not ready to subtract it from my life. It’s still so new.

Wow, this nails it, Diane: "It’s hard to fit in more things I want to do for myself when I’m waiting to see if anyone wants to be around me." I feel that deeply! The ironic part is we all want to be around people who already are doing things for themselves, whose lives are full of projects that light them up. Sounds like the Bookstagram page will be additive to your life...and who knows what it might turn into or who it might attract your way? That's the best part.

As a chronically busy person who always overcommits, this made me feel very good about my life choices!!!

hahaha, you're not chronically busy, you're overflowing with events and projects that are meaningful to you! And I think of you as someone who is very secure in her life choices and where she spends her time -- it's encouraging!

Before reading this, I decided to add an evening yoga class (I usually do videos at home) at the park district. After reading this, I’m even more resolute to start the class (tonight!). Love this newsletter. Thank you.

How wonderful! I hope it's a great addition to your week. Same exercise, different location can *feel* so fresh and new, too. Thank you for that reminder.
