My good news is that, having somehow come on a trip home with my [very clingy and overwhelmed by my 1000 family members] little kid, I *FINALLY* got through the last of the three deadlines I'd accidentally brought with me and had almost zero time for!
Hooray!!! That must feel like such a relief. Amazing how time bends to fit what *really really* needs to get done. Now that is a HEARTY close to the week!
These ball pit balls are giving me major serotonin. I'm making them my computer background. They emulate my life and chaos. They also remind me of that thing where you fill a bucket with the big things--balls, rocks--and tackle those first, and then the smaller things that fit in the space left behind, and then sand to fill the rest...but to focus on the main things as best as possible. I'm no prioritization genius, but anyway I just love the photo and all your newsletters obviously ;)
I love that metaphor of the balls (rocks!) and sand, too! It's so simply and evocative -- but I never thought about them in the context of the little pit balls. Maybe they'll become a recurring picture during our "gentle closes." I hope you have a lovely weekend, Anne!

But I actually envy you because you’re just watching it for the first time! Binge-watch doesn’t work for this type of series, because their charm is in the freshness.
The Office does feel different after the 2nd watch (but! I still binge-watch it from time to time) and so does Veep. So yes, enjoy ))
