Oh well, I wasn't that interested anyway…

Trying for what we do care about though…oof.

• Best animal story of the week: We could all use a tidy mouse!

• Best podcast of the week: If you like David Goggins (and I really do), this interview on the Huberman podcast is a must-listen.

• Best use of my body this week: Ran a 5K last weekend for the first time in many years. Pumping winter air through the lungs. YES.

• Best musical vibes of the week: I first saw PigPen Theatre Co. perform their addictive blend of folk-pop in Williamsburg 10 years ago. So excited for their music to come to Broadway with the new musical Water for Elephants this spring (it’s an innovative adaption of the Sara Gruen book!). This video for “The Road Don’t Make You Young” is a bouncy Friday pick-me-up.

• Best profile of the week: We love EGOT Jonathan Tunick.

• Best meet-and-greet of the week: Met and pet a local cat who lives in a nearby grocery store. You always gotta stop to pet the cat.

• Best weekend plans (…of the week?): We’re seeing Prayer for the French Republic and a Carnegie Hall concert for Stephen Flaherty this weekend. Yay!
