Oh, hi friends!
You could start a new project today that informs the next six years of your life.
You could quickly say "sorry, no" when you usually say "yes, of course."
You could revamp your daily plan or reach for the throat of the work that scares you.
You could reflect on the year behind or explode every preconceived notion of the year ahead.
You could archive all those emails and move on.
You could change your mind on day two, and again on day twelve, and again on day eighty-seven.
You could say your wildest intention out loud right now (because if you can't say it, how will you live it?).
You could commit.
Happy fresh new year.
There are so many things you could do.
What will you do?
Happy new year, Kara!! Thank you for your work and always being an inspiration for us.
Re point number two, I think my “word” of the year (I’m sure the Germans have it down to one word) is
TIME BOUNDARIES
One thing I try and do (and ADHD brain rarely remembers doing) is waiting 24 hours before saying yes to an invitation or committing time to anyone other than a paying client.
It’s so hard!!!!
Happy new year!!!!
