Patience.
It's the most important quality to have when you're creating something, or pivoting, or searching (for a new job, partner, money, anything).
You can have all the discipline. You can have all the talent. You can trust your instincts.
But above all else, you must possess an unbelievable, inhuman level of patience.
Looking back, the most frustrating times of my creative life were when I agitated over experiences out of my control. I was trying to will answers or new chapters into existence instead of focusing my energy elsewhere or exploring what was working.
Weeks pass. Months pass. Years pass.
You will get your answers.
Whatever you're searching for is coming. It might be on its own timeline. It might not resemble exactly what you're expecting.
Don't look away. Don't lose heart. Don't give up.
What if I told you everything was going to work out?
