Oh, hi friends!

Are you planning on learning anything new this week?

I find that I'm at my happiest and most creative when I'm:

• Reading something compelling

• Listening to an engrossing audiobook or podcast

• Researching a new topic (rabbit holes can be good!)

• Practicing a skill that I'm so bad at that it's not even a skill yet

These can seem like "bonus" activities, the things we do — or say we should do — on the fringes of our work or creative projects. We can get so busy we forget to learn.

But these things are the good work, too. These things are creative. And they wake up your brain.

If you’re feeling sluggish or stagnant or any other s-word, try to worm your way back into learning.

And if you’re fully in learning mode, watch out.
