On keeping a narrow view

Oh, hi friends!

Do not get talked into things you don’t want to do.

“But everyone makes Instagram reels.”

OK, great. But if you hate it, you’re not going to make a good reel.

“But everyone is hanging out on LinkedIn.”

Good good good! For them.

If the platform makes you flash back to your corporate job-seeking days and you get hives just typing the URL into the window? Back away.

The energy you bring in is not going to be good. You’re not going to love it, you’re going to wish you were doing something else, and it’s going to show.

Who cares what everyone else is doing?

You need to lean in to what you like and what you are good at and take up space in places where you want to be. 

Everything else is just…clutter.
