Oh, hi friends!
Over here you have money.
Over here you have time.
Over here you have energy.
Over here you have care.
Each pillar (or animal or item) is a different type of investment you can make.Â
All together, let's call them your portfolio.Â
Money, time, energy, care.
Your portfolio is extremely diverse! And bountiful! You are super rich, OK? You have a lot. So much!
Like most portfolios, it changes and fluctuates. Sometimes you have more time, sometimes you have more energy. Other times your ability to care — (will want you to shaaare / a little, a lot)— is challenged, or your literal money pile isn't so flush.
We've got all these things in play.
And now other people would like you to invest in them — everyone would love your money, time, energy, care, all of the above! And you do invest it willingly, gladly.
Here's the question.
What would it look like to invest in yourself?Â
In what ways can you throw money at your own interests?Â
Is there a new place to invest your time? Your energy?Â
One newsletter reader just told me he said no to a well-paying project to get back some free time. He literally bought more time.
How can you begin to care about yourself as much as you care about other people?Â
What will you invest in yourself this year?
Money, time, energy, care?
These are questions I'm thinking about…maybe you'd like to think about them, too.
It would have been malpractice to post this without referencing Being Alive!
