Little Monday vibes

Oh, hi friends!

Sunday is a tug-of-war. 

Leisure and play versus chores and work.

Tug a few steps one way, yank back a few steps the other way.

Then Monday arrives.

And one end of the rope gets dropped.

There’s a feeling that you need to start running.

If you’re trying to figure out your direction, here’s one question:

What are you looking forward to this week?

A beginning, a passing off, a celebration? 

A podcast, a breath, a dinner?

Run in the direction that doesn’t feel like work.

Run in the direction that is pulling you.

This mixes my metaphors but I felt like it perfectly captured “Monday” and there are no rules in this newsletter so here we are, bungee-jumping together, on a Monday, into our futures. Yahoooo!
