Oh, hi friends!
Reconnect with an old friend.
Yes, it’s December.
You’re busy.
They’re busy.
But the friend that came to mind when you read the first sentence…
They’d probably love to reconnect with you, too.
What Are You Doing Today?
New podcast episode this morning! I talked with Alyssa Ages, author of the new book Secrets of Giants.
I devoured this book in two days. It’s about why pushing our physical limits makes us feel so alive, her own journey training for strongman competitions, and much more.
Here’s one quote I highlighted from the book:
“I always wondered, How would it feel to really challenge myself?”
As I say in the podcast, the book is wonderfully inspiring, not only if you’re considering incorporating strength training into your life, but if you need a push to try things that you haven’t done before, get outside your comfort zone, and really lean into the diligence and patience and possibility of failure that comes with trying something new.
Check out Secrets of Giants (Amazon, Bookshop). (I bought three for Christmas gifts!!)
And listen to our conversation at DO IT TODAY (Apple Podcasts, Spotify). Twenty-three minutes, shorter than an episode of Frasier.
Btw here’s the powdered bone broth she mentioned!
I hope after listening you’ll get the courage to try something new.
Brb going to go pick up an Atlas stone.
