Oh, hi friends!
Learning.
Adapting.
Learning.
Adapting.
Learning.
Adapting.
That’s how changes are made, habits are formed, projects are finished.
Learning can look like: research and rabbit holes, asking for advice, quitting something bad, adopting something new, feeling clueless, nerves and second guessing.
Adapting can look like: movement and motion, making the choice, setting a boundary, sending a draft, not going back.
Where are you right now?
Artist,
The more of you that is in it. The more of ourselves we see.

Loved this insight from acting coach John Markland, who my brother Eric works with…hope it might change the way you’re looking at your own work today. Where can you tell the truth?
A Friday Question for You
What are you finishing today?
What do you not want to take into the weekend?
(Me, I’m submitting an article draft and sending my accountant tax stuff.)
Saying it out loud locks it in, for better or worse.
How about you? What’s your Friday finish line?
I've been having such a tough time with progressing my novel this week, and despite actually getting to my goal, I'm still kind of .... I guess dealing with the knowledge that I'm struggling and that it's okay to do so? I would very, very much like to leave that in the week, though, and not take it with me into the weekend. We struggle, we make things happen anyway, we move on.
Have a wonderful weekend!
I have to pay my bills. Thanks, Kara, for providing insights.
