Oh, hi friends!
It's not for me right now.
This phrase came to my mind a few minutes ago.
And my mind instantly quieted down.
It's another way to say no.
No to projects, good-on-paper opportunities, trends, social media habits, invitations, whispers.
It's not for me right now.
You can say it just like that, to yourself or to someone else.
Or you can use that phrase as a framework in your head when you respond, "No, I can't / won't / am unable to."
How freeing.
To survey possibilities and collect the ones that feel right to you.
And to the others, simply say, and accept, and admit, It's not for me right now.
Maybe later, maybe one day, maybe never.
But now — right now — your devotion lies elsewhere.

Your emails are tiny messages of calming joy between all the madness and wow, todays really resonated. Taking that phrase in my pocket ready to have when needed. Thank you ✨
perfect complement to my fave, "I'm sorry but that's not going to work for me."
