Oh, hi friends!
Why delay joy?
This question came to my mind yesterday, and it won’t stop ringing around.
You're pretty sure that, say, adopting a dog would make you happy — you love dogs, and always stop to pet stranger dogs on the street and you know the shelters are overpopulated and you could provide a happy home for one of them and and and —
Dogs can be kind of expensive.
And I don't know if I have enough time right now.
And what would this choice mean for the other priorities in my life?
(The dog can be anything, obviously. A project, a move, a life change.)
But maybe joy can, or should, supersede all of these doubts.
Because once you make the choice your life rearranges in mysterious ways to provide room for that choice to grow and breathe.
Think of the joy you get from performing, connecting, creating, helping…
Why delay?
Because what is the purpose of life if not to find more joy and, in small and large ways, deliver it back to the people around you?
Speaking of Joy (and Dogs)
Robert Moore turned 100 years old this month and his daughter told neighbors to stop by with their dogs for a visit because he loves dogs.
Two hundred dogs (and their owners) showed up!!!

This dog story is a PERFECT story, I'm actually crying. Thank you for sharing it!
