A gentle close to the week

Oh, hi friends!

This was a tough week, but maybe that’s why it’s even more important to take a moment and try to gently close the week behind us. 

Here are a few photos from my run this morning. (We’re on Fire Island, there’s no deer in Manhattan! That I know of…)

I tried to stop and see more often this week. To look instead of rush. To connect rather than avoid. To remember.

We are always wanting. 

Think about the name of this newsletter. Grabbing for the brass ring, reaching for some golden goal. 

But we already have so much, too. 

Just look around.

Family, friends, pets, strength, support, creativity.

I urge you, today, to appreciate both what you already hold in your hands, and everything that remains possible for you.
