Spotting the clues

Oh, hi friends!
Which section do you beeline to in a bookstore?
What subjects do you always bring up in conversation?
Which friend do you ask lots of questions of about their job?
These are your interests! Isn’t that funny? I’ve talked to a lot of people who say they don’t know what they like and don’t know what they might want to work on, but the clues are all around…
I bet you can find some today.

Sometimes I dream of just reading for hours and hours a day. Then I realized I probably *do* read for hours and hours a day…that is literally my job. LOL.

“It is one thing to study war and another to live the warrior’s life.”
—Telamon of Arcadia, mercenary of the fifth century B.C.
This is from The War of Art by Steven Pressfield, which I am rereading again as a refresher and for an upcoming project. (Guess what! It's a song!)
I noticed on a previous read, I had crossed out “war” and wrote it “writing” and crossed out “warrior’s” and wrote “writer’s” making it this:
It is one thing to study writing and another to live the writer’s life.
Feel free to substitute it with your own words, too!

WELL WELL WELL, HELLO. Summer should never end, according to this bat who's enjoying a watermelon. (h/t One Ear)
