Well, this has been haunting me

Oh, hi friends!
Do you know why you're in your current job?
A friend recently said something to me that I’ve thought about nonstop.
They said, “When I think about the work I do on a daily basis, I don’t really enjoy any of it. I think I only like my job because it makes me feel important.”
Titles and prestige and having a seat at the table can do that.
And maybe that’s OK…
At least you know why you are where you are.
And maybe that’s not OK…
It could be a sign to do something different.
Admitting it though — that seems like a start.

Did you see the window first or the door first?

BOY OH BOY IS THIS TRUE OR WHAT?

My Little Confession Corner
I’ve been biking around the city. It’s so fun! And freeing! And by “city,” I should clarify — I bike only in parks and in designated bike lanes that are absent all cars and, usually, people.
I started because I found out you can actually rent a Citibike — New York’s bikeshare program — through the Lyft app for a few bucks per ride. A-whaaa?
(Also, I guess writing this exhaustive “how to use a Citibike” guide last year — #freelancelife — should have tipped me off that this would happen.)
Anyway, this reminded me that it’s exciting to try something new. Agree?
