Gearing up your Monday

Oh, hi friends!
I kept debating about what to say this morning.
But I'm feeling super optimistic, and I realized all I really wanted to express was…
I’ve got this.
And you’ve got this.
So let’s go get this.
Sound good?

But seriously, does anyone know how to play dominoes?

Referencing Steve Jobs’s famous line that you can connect the dots only looking backward, Mr. Urban urged anyone frozen by indecision to simply pick a “good next dot,” saying, “It doesn’t have to be perfect — it’s just a dot along the way.”
This excellent Smarter Living piece by Susan Shain (who I got to know through Brass Ring!) is all about how to be less indecisive — and it spoke to me in the biggest way.
If you’re often faced with this or that and choose…nothing?!?!…then it’s a must read. Here’s to picking “next dots,” no matter what they are!

Playing catch-up on summer movies: I saw the film Booksmart on Sunday and it’s an absolute delight. Brilliantly directed by Olivia Wilde, it’s about two high school girls who want to have a little fun before high school graduation. But it’s also so much more! Haven’t laughed this much at a film in a long while. Here’s the trailer (language warning — put on your headphones).
