This will only take a second

Oh, hi friends!
We’re halfway there.
What are you going to get done this week?
Today?
<ping ping ping> go the ideas in your brain <ping ping ping>
Now let’s go do it.

Some people might be attracted to the these lights. Some people repelled. Neither are wrong. They're just different.

"Every day I'm meeting my creative edge in a really good and really hard process."
My talented friend Auzelle Epeneter is at a writers’ residency right now in Norway and just sent this update to her supporters. I love this phrase so much: meeting my creative edge. Something to aspire to. I want to dance along the edges!

Were you watching James Holzhauer’s Jeopardy! domination? The guy won $2.46 million playing 32 days in a row. His reign finally ended on Monday when Emma Boettcher, a 27-year-old librarian from Chicago, won on Shakespeare clue in Final Jeopardy. (She was an English major. YES.)
Wrote a lil’ story for Money yesterday about their showdown, but the thing that struck me was that Boettcher tried out FOUR TIMES before getting on the show. And Holzhauer, now one of the best contestants in the show’s history, took the online test THIRTEEN times before getting on the show. Try try try, fail fail fail. WIN WIN WIN. More lessons over here.
