Um, I didn't expect *that* to happen

Oh, hi friends!
Most of my favorite emails I get during the day are responses to this newsletter.
A couple days ago I recommended an excellent article about embracing your mediocrity — and then the writer herself responded to my newsletter, and said she's been a reader for a long time! What!!!
And then after my throat-clearing yesterday about getting bogged down with annoyances and trying instead to focus on "today's new", my friend Niki, who I met through this newsletter, responded in part by saying: "I’ve been beating myself up for having a lousy day and letting myself get distracted repeatedly yesterday, instead of giving myself grace for being a human, doing the best I can in a brand new position."
Giving myself grace for being a human, doing the best I can...
Now that beautiful phrase will ring around my brain for days.
So I guess my ask of you today is...can you share things that you like, and ideas that you think, and work that matters to you?
You will bring into your life so many people who feel the same way.

Um, yesterday, I was sitting at work and I thought: I wonder what advice an expert could give me about the 10-minute musical I'm working on right now?
So I went on Twitter and asked Kristen Anderson-Lopez, the writer of Frozen and that beautiful song from Coco (and a BMI alum!!!) for inspiration, and boy did she deliver. I got chills!!!

I can't help it. This is just 100 percent my vibe right now.
Do you like these daily emails? Please share with a friend!
Thanks, as always, for reading.
Love, Kara
