When the little things annoy you

Oh, hi friends!
I got bogged down yesterday with little annoyances...
Woke up late. Couldn't log on to the Internet. Couldn't connect to the printer. Restarted computer three times. Had to re-log in to about 15 websites I use daily. Got distracted every time I started something important.
That made everything feel all shook up and disjointed.
Oh well!
I mean...honestly...who cares?
Today's new.
Today's new.
Today's new.

Sometimes (a lot of the time) the subway doesn't work, is delayed, leaves me waiting, blahblahblah. But still, sometimes (a lot of the time) it still gets me where I need to go.
"I want to leave this planet being able to say, 'Caused no harm, did a lot of good.'"
Pretty simple, no? From this great Hollywood Reporter cover story on Oprah. She also talks about how when she launched her network OWN (remember everyone thought it was gonna bomb?) she wanted to program a lot of spiritual, Eckhart Tolle-type stuff, and then she realized people don't want to talk about that all the live-long day. So she pivoted. Even Oprah isn't immune to failure and change! In fact, she's a connoisseur of it.

A reminder that simple words are often the best.
"What I Did For Love" from A Chorus Line
Kiss today goodbye
The sweetness and the sorrow
Wish me luck, the same to you
But I can't regret
What I did for love, what I did for love
