Perhaps my most surprising advice ever?

Oh, hi friends!
Change. Focus. To-dos. Momentum. The Pomodoro Technique. Sprints. Marathons. Deep work. Big projects. Small projects. Tall projects. Projects for your soul. Projects for your brain. Projects for life. Projects for now.
Or, like, maybe today we could...have a bit of fun?
Maybe that's injecting some levity into your work day, or making impromptu plans for tonight.
I don't know what fun looks like for you, but I'm certain you do.
Nothing's going to fall completely apart, so let's ease up on our grips a little and see what happens.

I love a brain dump when I'm feeling overwhelmed. I write down ev-er-y-thing. In a new piece for Shine, I write about how to do it — and get everything off your mind and onto the page.

BOOM. My brother Eric is in a movie! The teaser trailer for Blood From Stone, which he shot last year in Los Angeles and Las Vegas, was just released and they're calling it a "genre-defying" vampire film. Yesss. Gonna be a good one.
