When a job goes 'poof'!

Oh, hi friends!
What would you do if your job didn't exist tomorrow?
If you woke up and just—poof! Gone.
Would you mourn?
Or would you feel like a load has been lifted?
Would you look for a new job with similar qualities?
Would you think about going in a completely different direction?
Maybe I'm just morbid—or have gotten used to a lot of change working as a freelancer over the years—but I do like to often think, What *would* I do?
Do you know what you would do?

And love her caption, too: "We were driving up Mount Teide [in Spain] when I captured this, looking like it came straight out of a Twilight movie. Only it’s about a 30 min drive from the beach, you’d never have known."
"So, no, I don’t think of myself as a rehabilitated critic. I think of myself as terrified and interested and humbled and exhilarated in roughly equal proportions.
What was true for Critic Me holds true for Creative Me: When the lights go down, there’s that moment when we’re all afraid of the dark together. And we all have an interest in illuminating that moment, meeting it with bravery. And perhaps a Sandworm.
We all have an interest in Maybe this will work."
What an intriguing story about a theater critic-turned-theater creator. So many forms of creating have the same spine, which is good, you know? Means you can do more than you think. (h/t Dorie Clark)

Look around, look around.
How lucky we are to be alive right now.
I could totally play this 30-minute loop all day.
I might go crazy, but...might be worth it?
