Leaving the week behind
Oh, hi friends!
Three questions to close out today:
What lessons did you learn this week?
What do you want to leave behind?
What’s one thing you are looking forward to this weekend?
“I know that job has put food on our table and has given us a really beautiful life,” Kara Young said later. “He’s such an honorable man, and for him to get a standing ovation was the most unexpected moment ever.”
Kara Young is one of the most astoundingly good actors I’ve seen on stage in years. She’s nominated for a Tony Award for Clyde’s, and during the awards luncheon was able to share the moment with someone special: her father, Klay Young, who’s worked as a server at the Rainbow Room for 30 years. Beautiful story about a full-circle moment. You will tear up!

Day Four of the Four-Gosling Streak
Here we are! After I hit “send” on this very late-in-the-day newsletter, I’ll write my pages.
And you know what? During a very blah week, like a real garbage one-out-of-five stars week, it feels good to point to this single document and be able to say, Here is something that didn’t exist before. And to know that I kept a promise to myself (and everyone reading this). So thank you for that encouragement.
Were you able to do a lil gosling streak? And if so, do you want to keep it up?
Have a peaceful weekend. Celebrate your goslings.

Thanks, as always, for reading.
