You have today
Oh, hi friends!
Sometimes it’s easy to let the things you wanted to happen yesterday take over the one thing you do have: today.
What are you waiting on right now?
A job offer, a residency announcement, a follow-up email.
More time, more courage, more planning.
A "yes" from someone else. Or maybe a "no." So you can move on.
But today stretches out in front of you. Don’t forget to use today, too.
“This is one more piece of advice I have for you: don’t get impatient. Even if things are so tangled up you can’t do anything, don’t get desperate or blow a fuse and start yanking on one particular thread before it’s ready to come undone. You have to realize it’s going to be a long process and that you’ll work on things slowly, one at a time.”

Reaching Out That Paw
I’d love your help! Since bringing back the newsletter a few weeks ago, it’s been full steam ahead, except…I need more? More stories, more quotes, more bits ’n’ baubles of things to share. And I realized, well, I’m surrounded by people who are making moves, being brave, and taking risks (or thinking about them).
So if you have any little bits of inspiration you’d like to share, please drop them into this one-question form and I hope to feature some in future issues. We need all the good stories we can get right now.
Also, “Do You Know Someone Who…” is back open! If you're looking for help with a project (in the form of a collaborator, advice, etc), or you're looking for a job or internship (or something else), please tell me a little bit about what you're seeking — and be as specific as you can. Go here!
Do you like these daily emails? Please share with a friend!
You can also support my work by checking out my motivational journal, Do It For Yourself, designed to guide you through your creative and work projects, and my upcoming journal Do It Today, which encourages you to find time for the things that matter most to you.
Thanks, as always, for reading.
Love, Kara
