Big Monday feelings

Imagine my surprise when I went to draft today's newsletter and realized...I accidentally scheduled Monday's newsletter for Tuesday morning. Eek. So here is yesterday's, today. It's never too late, folks.
Oh, hi friends!
What kind of big feelings do you not feel very often?
I think anger is a big one for me — I’m pretty low-key, so when something or someone gets me angry, which is only once every Super Blood Wolf Moon Mars Eclipse, I get really angry.
A little frustrated, anxious, fretting…all much more common! But anger…woof.
But I wonder if my outsized reaction is because it’s so rare. Is it a boiling over?
And I wonder how many other emotions we feel in big ways simply because we’re so used to never feeling them at all. If you've experienced more hardship or loss than the average person, do you feel sorrow in greater or lesser degrees? Same with love or sadness or boredom, I guess.
Maybe that’s a good reason in general to feel more, more often. So you never have to boil. You’re content to simmer.

Oh look, it's your brain when pulled in many different directions.
"When I am running there is nothing but time and my own body and however long it will take me to get there. Everything else needs to wait.”
Beautiful story about the magic of winter running and capturing the writing that happens in your head. Do you have moments each day that somehow make the rest of the world wait?

“Pain pushes until vision pulls.” YES YES YES. I have listened to this Super Soul Sunday talk many times over the last couple years. It’s a good one.
PS — I Am Deeply Flawed
I had a broken link in Friday’s Brass Ring Daily, so here’s the real one if you’re looking for lots of editors seeking story pitches!

Thanks, as always, for reading.
