How to Marie Kondo your brain

Oh, hi friends!
If you're feeling overwhelmed, try this trick:
Write down every single thing and task that's weighing on your mind.
From "take out recycling" to "respond to urgent email from boss" to "schedule haircut two months from now” to “watch that one show everyone’s talking about.”
If you're feeling so overwhelmed you can't take the time to write it all down...that's when you most need to try it.
The next step is to separate everything into piles: "gotta do ASAP" — "gotta schedule for later" — "gotta delegate to someone".
The point is getting it out of your brain and onto paper (or your Notes app on your iPhone, which syncs to iCloud in your browser!).
Don't drown in the overwhelm. Try it!!!

"Do yourself a favor and tidy up your mental clutter—clearing the cobwebs can give you the room and motivation to fill it with whatever thoughts you’d like."
Of course I watched some of Tidying Up with Marie Kondo on Netflix. How could I not?! The woman goes to people’s homes and makes them more organized and more livable! Here’s how to use the Marie Kondo method to tidy up your mental clutter. (My latest for Shine!)

Oh, what a beautiful mornin'
Oh, what a beautiful day…
After a very up-and-down week, I'm choosing to lean into the bright golden haze on the meadow. Thank you, Jeremy Jordan, for this very poppy rendition of the Oklahoma! opener (it’s filmed on a beach...but no matter...just listen).
Do you like these daily emails? Please share with a friend!
Thanks, as always, for reading.
Love, Kara
