Getting stuff done in the least painful way possible

Oh, hi friends!
I think this is a sports term, but I’m going to steal it.
How can you move the ball forward today?
Just a tiny bit. I’m not saying you have to complete that draft or figure out your business plan or sign a new lease for your dream apartment or find your soulmate by the end of the day or get fully trained up for your half-marathon after one run.
But.
How can you move the ball forward just a little bit today?
I had “figure out 401K thing” on my to-do list for, um, a year? But yesterday I finally moved the ball forward by, uh, calling the number on the website.
The number was disconnected. LOL. Of course. But that micro-action then forced me to send an online message with my question. It took five minutes.
Tiny. Little. Movements.

Don’t be ridiculous
We tried that before
It cost too much
It can’t be done
That’s beyond our responsibility
And so on.

Advertising + Musical + a Playwright
Well, this is my kind of catnip.
The playwright Will Eno is writing a musical for Broadway. Except, it’s actually/also a commercial for Skittles.
That’s right, on Super Bowl Sunday, Skittles Commercial: The Broadway Musical will be performed—with a 17-member cast and unnamed celebrity—live at Town Hall in New York. They’re selling tickets with proceeds going to Broadway Cares Equity Fights Aids. Last year’s Super Bowl had over 103 million viewers. Attendance for the entire 2017-2018 Broadway season—every show, every theater, every night—was 13.8 million. Think about that. And think about how and why to get your work in front of the most eyeballs possible.
