Your Monday will be a good one
Oh, hi friends!
We may or may not be rested.
We may or may not be ready.
But we’re going to show up today anyway — in fact, we’re already here.
And being here is half the battle.
You already know how to make the other half happen.
You already know what you have to do.
And you’re going to do it.
“I found I could stop worrying and just enjoy running much more when I spent less time obsessively monitoring my pace and instead just reminding myself that every time I ran, I was getting better, whether it felt like it or not.”
The great Sarah Begley shares what she’s learned from running over the last two years.
I’m translating this advice to writing and creating, too — and am reminding myself that every time I write/create/try, I’m getting better, whether it feels like it or not.

What Are Your Summer Plans?
Such a strange and exciting question, especially now! I see everyone dressing up for weddings, traveling, quitting, moving, reconnecting, all while trying to figure out which habits to keep and which to ditch as we move forward this year. I’m, uh, figuring all that out, too.
But I feel so lucky to have an encouraging friend in my corner who always helps me clarify my thoughts and goals — and now you can have her in your corner, too! Aransas Savas is hosting a free LiveUp Lab to help you intentionally design your own best summer. It’s this Saturday, June 26, from 10-11:30 a.m. ET on Zoom. Sign up here.
I never miss a chance to spend time with Aransas, and you shouldn’t either. (You can also subscribe to her uplifting newsletter here!)
