One thought if you’re already behind
Oh, hi friends!
We're a little delayed today because I left this newsletter to be the last thing I worked on yesterday and simply ran out of time. (It happens!)
So! That is the bit of advice I’m going to remember today:
Don’t leave the most important tasks until the end.
Chip chip chip away now.
Alright, you OK? Let’s gooo. See you at the finish.
“Trust. Allow. Be.”
My friend Selina Z. has been saying this for years — she even put it on a tote! — and it’s a phrase I’ve come back to often in recent weeks. It’s hard to trust in times of uncertainty, even harder to allow events to unfold, and harder still to simply be present, able, and open. But we can try.
Six Minutes of Musical Joy
Everyone is loving the new Netflix movie Enola Holmes, starring Millie Bobbie Brown as Sherlock Holmes’s sister, but I’m going to one-up you: here’s Enola Holmes as a musical!
This brilliant piece was composed by Ron Passaro (my Marvelous Mrs. Maisel musical collaborator!) and written by the undeniably brilliant Julia Gannon (who you might remember played our Susie Myerson).
Such a tuneful delight!
