Your Monday morning clean-up plan
Oh, hi friends!
Are you ready?
Hopefully you’re well-rested from the weekend.
Oh, you’re not? That’s OK, too. Set a bedtime right now and you can still get a full night’s sleep tonight.
Hopefully you’ve got an organized day with your priorities all spelled out.
Oh, you don’t? That’s alright. Take one minute right now to outline the two things you must do by 5pm today. One minute. Right now. Two things.
Hopefully you don’t have any lingering tasks from last week following you around like ghosts.
Oh, you do? No problem! Take another minute and pick the one thing gnawing at you in the gnarliest way and figure out the next step of action you can take.
Hopefully that’s not too much.
Now let’s do it.
Have a good Monday.
“Find your tribe of people and make opportunities to hold them and uplift them, because by doing that, you will rise, as well.”
From this lovely interview with Michael Arden, director of the Tony-winning musical Once on This Island.
Do you know Lake Street Dive? My goodness, they’re good. Check out Rachael Price singing “What I’m Doing Here.”
Also, hi! I’m looking to profile some interesting folks who’ve turned their side gigs into full-fledged, money-making careers. A sort of "I-quit-my-job-to-start-a-lobster-roll-truck” kinda thing. Do you know someone who’s doing amazing work and might talk about the nitty-gritty with me? Please let me know! Their stories can inspire others!
Do you like these daily emails? Please share with a friend!
Thanks, as always, for reading.
Love, Kara
