Feeling small, y'all?
Oh, hi friends!
Are you living a small life?
I don’t mean, like, literally living in one of those tiny houses (although if you are, I’d love to hear about it).
No, I mean, are you living smaller than your potential?
I think about this a lot.
I’m not saying you have to quit your job or divorce your spouse or enroll in grad school or sign up for an ultra marathon or spend all your money.
The opposite of small doesn’t have to be big. Or expensive.
But I’m talking about elevating the way you’re living to meet the future you want to have.
Actually, that’s it: the opposite of the small I’m talking about is abundance.
Feeling abundant with joy and friendships and work and life and opportunity.
When’s the last time you felt most abundant?
Why'd you feel that way?
Gonna go think on this one.
“Look around. You’re the smartest, most ambitious, most attractive friends I have. You are an elite group of highly productive creative geniuses, and I need your help…”
So goes the beginning of my latest theater piece!
The great Brittany Jo Sowards will be performing one of my monologues in a showcase at one of my favorite theaters in New York this weekend—and if you’re around, I’d love to see you there!
Tickets are free and the night is so fun—lots of talented writers, directors, and actors.

Thanks, as always, for your support of my words.
Boy oh boy, this movie has literally everything I care about: curmudgeonly old man writers, fractured marriages on the brink of demise, the Nobel Prize, and Glenn Close owning her power. Can’t wait for August!
