Beginner’s brain
Oh, hi friends!
When’s the last time you were a beginner?
We often think of starting something new as a major event. Buy the right gear or tools. Read a how-to. Mentally prepare. Debate the pros and cons. Tell everyone.
But what if we cut that fat and thought of beginning like it was any other Tuesday?
Like, say, an arbitrary Tuesday in the middle of November?
Maybe the day you begin could be just another day. Maybe it’s today.
I love the version of my self who writes first drafts. Who is she?
