A question that stopped me
Oh, hi friends!
I was interviewing someone recently and at the end of the conversation, she turned the tables. She asked me, “If you could write anything, in any genre, what’s your dream project?”
How tricky.
Because the thing is…I can write anything. There are no gatekeepers to creating. No password to uncover before I can open Microsoft Word, no exorbitant down payment before I can pick up a pen.
You could do anything, too. So how would you answer that question?
Thanks, Missy! (h/t Tessa Miller faved this on Twitter)
A Chicago Marathon Story
"There are lots of reasons to be sad, angry and frustrated about the state of the world today, but Sunday reminded me that there are many reasons to be proud and grateful to be part of something that is larger than all of us individual runners, something that provides a community and a shared experience, however temporary."
Loved this so much. Please read the rest of Blakeney's Schick's honest and insightful marathon recap!
