How to get rid of every excuse
Oh, hi friends!
What’s something you wanna do?
Quick — answer me with that sleepy smart brain of yours. (I'll wait.)
Now, what’s the excuse?
“I’m not good enough.”
“My friends will think it’s stupid.”
“What if I waste my time?”
“But I should have already done it years ago.”
“I don’t know how.”
“I don’t know anyone.”
“I don’t know…”
You can call these excuses. That’s what they look like from far away. You can give them power.
Or you can call them what they really are: projections.
About what other people could think, about what may happen, about what you might or might not be good at.
Don’t be so hard on yourself.
They're only projections. Dirty, broken, distorted projections.
Let yourself off the hook.
Jump.

Say what you want about Will Smith, but the man has a very defined point of view. This video might motivate you (especially good as an early a.m. soundtrack).
Thank you for reading.
