Two sides to Monday
Oh, hi friends!
The sun might not come out today. You're dreading a meeting with your boss. You didn’t do laundry and have to wear a third-tier top that never quite fit right. You feel over committed or underwhelmed or maybe a little lost.
That’s okay.
You get to walk under the moody clouds. You can speak your mind in your meeting. You’ll get compliments on that shirt you hate. You can cancel plans that don’t excite you and make some that do.
It’s Monday.
Anything can happen on a Monday.
“Do not be critics, you people, I beg you. I was a critic and I wish I could take it all back because it came from a smelly and ignorant place in me, and spoke with a voice that was all rage and envy. Do not dismiss a book until you have written one, and do not dismiss a movie until you have made one, and do not dismiss a person until you have met them. It is a f@*$%load of work to be open-minded and generous and understanding and forgiving and accepting, but Christ, that is what matters. What matters is saying yes.”
So says Dave Eggers. (source) Agree or disagree?
