How to close the week on a high note
Close the Loop
Hello Friday, my old friend. Seems like the best time to process the week—what went right or wrong, and especially what’s left undone. Now’s a good chance to close the loop on a project or conversation. Perhaps it’s something you’ve pushed on your to-do list for the past five weeks running (guilty). Or it’s as simple as getting back to someone with a yes or no. Closing loops—small as they may seem—allows new ones to open.
"A friend of ours who is in her seventies just puts out the things she loves on her coffee table."
My friend John Fitzgerald shared this with me and I found it utterly charming. Why shouldn’t we spend our days looking at all the things that give us joy?
