Four things I’m holding on to right now

Oh, hi friends!
The days are only going to get shorter.
Not in daylight (although, that too?) but in the gotta-buy-presents, gotta-finish-projects, gotta-resolve-resolutions way.
I know this because POOF, half a day just flew by.
But it's gonna be cool! It's gonna be great! Here are some things I’m going to remember:
Getting outside always makes you feel more awake, even if it’s (or especially if it’s) 28 degrees
The things you put off the longest are probably the things you need to do first
You can’t go to every holiday party or drinks fest, and that’s OK
Being nice to people makes you feel less stressed
You probably have your own list! Let’s keep repeating them, again and again and again and…again.
“Oh my God, what if you wake up some day, and you're 65, or 75, and you never got your memoir or novel written, or you didn't go swimming in those warm pools and oceans all those years because your thighs were jiggly and you had a nice big comfortable tummy; or you were just so strung out on perfectionism and people-pleasing that you forgot to have a big juicy creative life, of imagination and radical silliness and staring off into space like when you were a kid? It's going to break your heart. Don't let this happen.”
