When you’re feeling “off”

Oh, hi friends!
Do you ever feel slightly off?
Nothings-going-right, no-ones-saying-the-right-thing, is-this-week-over kinda off?
When you feel like this — what Oprah would call “out of alignment” — every annoyance gets added up on the giant mountain of garbage. Whyyyyyy meeeeeeee?
So how can we smooth it out? How can we turn “off” back “on”? How can we flatten Garbage Mountain into a nice, soft, sandy beach?
Here are some ideas. If you’re feeling off. Which you might not be. But if you are...
We can investigate the source. Maybe the annoyances aren’t disconnected — maybe they’re offshoots of one primary garbage-producer. Can you identify and attack that one first?
We can go back to a routine that worked. The other day I remembered that I used to set my agenda for the next day the night before; now I wake up and fling myself into the day. Now that I remember, I can go back!
Or we can chill where we are. Maybe Garbage Mountain isn’t all bad. Maybe standing on top of it right now allows you to see far into the future. Or maybe you can enjoy sitting on its peak.

Oh my oh my. Yes. That is correct. (link to original: h/t Julia Frey)

Your fake-link for today is animate.
How can you slowly animate your idea and bring it to life? Give it color, life, a voice? Remember, you are drawing it all as you go.
